Hi all! This is

skyblue_reverie, and river asked me to post to her lj to let all of you lovely people know that unfortunately, her home was broken into today and her computer and itouch (among other possessions) were stolen. :( She wasn't there at the time and is totally fine, just (understandably) devastated about the burglary.

So she wanted you all to know that she hasn't forgotten about you but she is currently without intarwebz so it may be a little while before she's around.

Personally, I hope the evil rodent that stole her stuff ends up with a massive case of genital warts, but maybe that's just me. Anyway.

Sorry for the hijack, and I know that river knows we're all thinking of her and sending our good thoughts her way!

thank you baby. I doubt they'll get caught. the CSI who dusted for prints said that there is an unwritten rule in SF that they don't move to prosecute on fingerprint evidence only. but we can hope.

I'm glad that you are ok. I'm pissed about the break-in. I am totally down to watch your gate with you and CUT THE BASTARD who left the gate open.

I sort of wonder if it's the guy who's been walking back and forth through the yard, and who I held the gate for when we left yesterday. I held the gate for him so that I knew it was shut tight behind me. not that that (or deadbolting the door) did any good.

but yes. I'm ok. and that is a good thing.
