I want videos!

Does anyone know how to either go back to the previous version of Firefox that would allow me to watch videos on sites like youtube and cnn.com (or anywhere else, really), or how to make the new Firefox 3 let me watch them? I'm SERIOUSLY regretting updating now.

apparently the secret is to uninstall and reinstall.

I don't know of a program, but you could try system restore. Which is sometimes even worse, since you lose whatever you've done since the last time the computer set up a restore point, but sometimes it's worth it.

I was scared of system restore, so did uninstall/reinstall and now it seems better. *g*

Here you can DL older versions of Firefox (http://www.oldapps.com/firefox.htm).

I think with 3 it's hit or miss. Cause it's working pretty fine for me.. but I know it's been wonky with a lot of people.

Hopefully the older version will work better for you. ^_^ Let me know if you need more help.

p.s. I don't have a computer icon.. so iPod is the closest I have. Hah.

ok, so I tried that page and it made mozilla stop working alltogether, but since you said it was working fine, I tried uninstalling the whole kit and caboodle, and downloading 3 again, and now I can watch youtube again! so thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

I can watch the videos, I just can't download them anymore because the Real Player add-on is incompatible with Firefox 3. Count me among those regretting the update. :(
