so last night and this morning I watched the finales for Bones, House and Desperate Housewives. One thing I think it's safe to say outside a cut, are there Emmys for makeup? because I think there was some awesome makeup going on this week. And no, I'm not talking Gabrielle's lipstick.
Let's get Bones out of the way first. WHAT. THE. FUCK. That was quite possibly one of the worst episodes of television I have ever sat through in my life.
Well, of TV that I initially thought I wanted to watch anyway. For that TURD of a script, they FIRED Eric Milligan? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? That was a fucking shitty and stupid thing to do to someone who had asked to leave, but was entirely uncalled for with an actor who didn't. IT MADE NO SENSE. I just... The one tiny scrap of light was Emily and Eric in the forehead touching scene. They were great in that scene. Though the scene itself sucked ass and not in that fun way. I will not be watching again in the fall.
House. Woah. First, Amber's cyanosis was incredibly well done. I am impressed. I loved Cuddy curled up on that chair next to House, House's face when Wilson nodded yes, he did want House to risk his life to save Amber, Wilson finding the note, god that killed me... I really wasn't sure if I'd be watching again next year, but I think I will, after that.
Desperate Housewives. Which it looks like there will be no more of whether I want it or not. I really kind of only have two things to say, 1) does it make me a totally bad person that I loved seeing Nathan all tortured and bloody and saving the day again? That man works that look like nobody's business. 2)WHAT THE FUCK was Susan doing living withBrian Kinney Gale Harold (it was him, wasn't it? it went by so fast) at the end there? Seriously. What was that supposed to be telling us? I loved Gabby's ending, and I totally bought Lynnette's and, of course, Bree's, and what'ser name's, Nathan's wife, but I felt really put off by that replacing Mike thing. It felt like lazy writing somehow. And two hours of Wisteria Lane in one sitting is a lot. This from the girl who has watched whole seasons of tv in one sitting.
