PLEASE HELP!

If you are happy about the California Supreme Court ruling last Thursday saying the ban on same sex marriage is against California's constitution, and you think it's great that Governor Schwarzenegger spoke out and said he is NOT in support of a Constitutional Amendment that would define marriage in California as ONLY between a man and a woman, PLEASE CALL AND LET HIM KNOW. His staffer said he's getting a LOT of calls from the 'other side' and he needs to hear that people out there want equality and fairness in marriage laws.

Triffic! I should probably say at this stage that I interviewed Arnie more than 20 years ago when he was an unknown plugging Conan the Barbarian in Paris & his press person was a pal who'd begged me to give him some coverage. Her more or less exact words were: "I don't think you'll like the movie, and he has a impossible name, but it would help me," so of course I did and was terribly impressed by Arnold's brain. He had his whole career mapped out, including politics; he was articulate and precise & completely unexpected, considering I'd had to think up a gimmick to get my editor interested, & just had him carry a life-size model of the Venus de Milo statue near the Champs-Elysées for a pic. He certainly was a good sport.

... and, you know, he's a Hollywood person! They don't bat an eyelid at gays in Hollywood! Apart from Mel Gibson who's under his very own special slimy rock, I don't know any conservative stars who aren't pro-choice, pro-gay etc.
