I forgot to mail mine in. bastarding thing. I've done absentee for the last *calculates* 17 years, and I much prefer it!

Unfortunately, I probably won't be home in time to vote, as I work almost an hour from where I live and I can only vote at my polling site. Still, I live in New York. There's not a lot of doubt how things are going to go down around here, at least not in my region of the state. But if I can manage to get home in time to do so, I will vote. I always do, if I can.

I genuinely have no idea how things are expected to/might go here. I know I had four people ring and leave messages on my machine telling me why they wanted me to vote for Obama, and not a single one for Clinton, but that is the extent of it.

I so much prefer absentee voting, because remembering/finding time to go to the polls is much more difficult. I feel very lucky that my polling place is in the foyer of my apartment building!
