Well, when I say I love her, I love her being on the show. I wouldn't want to actually meet her or anything. But I love how she doesn't take any shit, and is just who she is, and I feel like if she were male people wouldn't hate her so much, though I could be wrong.

and no. the $10k isn't generous at all considering what she stole from them. but I love that that's what she thinks of as a thank you. The woman is cracked :D

LOL! "Cracked" is certainly a fair assessment!

I agree that some people wouldn't hate her so much if she were male, but personally, I'm mostly annoyed that she shot Sam... (Not terribly fond of Gordon for the same reason. I had really hoped after "Hunted" that he'd served his purpose and we wouldn't be seeing him again.) Not taking shit and being one's self is one thing, but not taking shit while shooting people, conning people and stealing things for one's own monetary gain and being generally shitty as a person... I don't care if a character is male, female, eunuch or a hermaphrodite of some sort, that makes them very difficult for me to like as a character...

So I love to hate Bela... and Gordon too... But I am open to being convinced that Bela has something significant to contribute to the overall story like Gordon has. I will willingly admit of course that "Bad Day at Black Rock" and "Red Sky at Morning" obviously wouldn't have worked without her, so I don't actually complain about her having been included in either episode.
