Sam finally confronts Dean, and surprise, surprise, Dean cuts him the fuck off. Though it digitized the middle of the fight, so I don't know exactly how it went. "you're not dad" was an interesting play. I wonder if more is going to come of that.
They seem very determined to get Jared and Jensen into suits in every episode this season. Or is that just me. Their badges are getting better too. Sam's drawing is adorable.

I thought that was interesting :) I like (and hate) the transformation--remember in season 2 when Sam was all worried that Dean was taking the job too seriously and being all cutthroat and heartless and stuff? Well, now he's the one with the conscience, and Sam's the one who shoots innocent girls.
But now we know that Sam can try to get Dean out of the deal without dropping dead.

I was glad that Dean was about to kill the wolf-guy. because he has been less with the killering this season. *remembers the vampire and the chainsaw and the blood on his face and the GAH WANT NOW* But he was totally prepared. I also like though that he was able to stop on a dime when it turned out the guy was free from his spell. Gives him more depth.

I can't decide if I liked this episode or Kids better...Both made me veeery happy. :)
I hated monster lady, too. It's like clowns, or dolls - anything that's supposed to be friendly and warm and cuddlesome is all that much freakier when it, you know, feeds you poisoned pie and stabs you fifty million times with a hugeass butcher knife.
*shudders* Blurgh.
And I had the same thought process for everything from "And OH FUCK NO." to the end. I barely kept in a whimper when he was packing up in the hotel room (or...maybe that was from the shot of sleepy!Dean. *coughs*) and I made a really weird noise (that got me a dirty look from the bitch sitting across for me in the cafe. Stupid hor. Spn's way better than your skanky Cosmo. What, bitter? Me? Um.) when he showed up at the crossroads.

This show does things to most of us, I think. I do tend to get enthusiastic about shows, but never like this. Fandom... It's addictive and wonderful *g*
I have liked each episode better than the one before. It's only ever when I can get some perspective on them that I can properly rank them in fave order. and it depends what I'm looking at. Quality as tv entertainment, acting, script, broyay, minutes with Bobby... They all end up being my favourite. :D
