Because it's hot enough to fry an egg on my skull today and the ice cream didn't help much I thought I would try my hand at tigertrapped's Ice prompt that she set for this weeks Write Words Challenge.

I gave myself an hour, so it's not very polished to say the least and the 'facts' are pieced together from my memories of my brother telling me about his backcountry snowboarding experiences and avalanche training. god forbid this ever happens to him.
