'With the thing. Of course. Did you have enough to drink?'
This cracked me up, because it's so easy to hear Sam and his deadpan-not-really-pissed-off-but-close voice... *glee*

And Dean thinking Sam's 'shotgun' is cute?
Oh, boys. That man can't be blamed for having issues about at least that.
Please be getting drunk again. Please be having further angsty UST and the inevitable resolution, 'kay?

*hugs*
This was all sorts of awesome, and the voices were perfect.
Thank You.

Obviously, we need a canon patch-up scene.

Thank you! I'm all with the grinning now.

We so need a canon patch up scene. I was thinking that when watching CSI NY last night, Even though it was horrific to see the splinting of broken fingers with make-do stuff, it totally made me think that Sam and Dean need to rip the sleeves off their shirts and use them as bandages and stuff more. and why did we get to see Jo patching Dean up but never Sam?

I've been thinking that there might need to be more drunk Dean, though in canon he seems to have an aversion to getting fall-down drunk, for good reason, I suppose.

The secret with having the DVDs help with the withdrawl symptoms is to not have seen the end of S1 until July nor any of S2 until the DVDs came out. Though it does make for fic reading/spoiler issues, so I don't actually recommend it at all. It does mean I'm feeling that I can't believe S3 is starting so soon though ;)

Dean getting drunk probably has something to do with him a) knowing his limits well enough and b) being near-always in the "Watch out for Sam(my)"-mode.
So even though I hope we'll be getting some sort of an insight into what a drunk!Dean's like, I doubt it.

You see, last year I could do that. I'd barely gotten through S1 when S2 began. The Spn-fans of my close family thought about waiting until S2 was over before watching it, but I couldn't wait, being a sucker for delicious fics. And spoilers aren't spoilers once you've seen the episode they are about.

S3's starting soon, indeed.
Now that I've gotten over my fear of falling completely apart watching S2 again, I do believe that I'll be able to pass the remaining time rather well... ;)
