I am reading Break No Bones by Kathy Reichs. In it she compares an overly frilly house in Charlston NC to the Royal Pavilion in Brighton.

This made me ridiculously pleased in a that's me, that's me sense.

The Pavilion is one of those buildings that's so ugly it's pretty.

Mood:: 'pleased' pleased

You know I adore that building. When we walked past it together I got my inner architecture geek out! lol!

I think it is fabulous!! :-) So much character, and a bit of something for everyone.

It's neat to have some kind of regional identity.
