There is a man who is probably in his 70s but looks about 100 who delivers pizza for the local pizza place. I always feel dreadful when he comes, there's something not right about a man that old waiting on me. B answered the door this time, due to the lying down with dizzy that I am busy doing, but he told me it was the 100 year old man, so I still feel bad.

Also, I am a fuckwit and spilled maple syrup on my keyboard this morning. now my 1,2,3 and tab keys are not working quite so well as they once did.

and Wentworth cried in Prison Break and now I am even more in love with the poor boy. (who is, by the way, the same age as me, but still)

That's all, for now.
Mood:: 'fuckwit' fuckwit

Ooh what made him cry??

He said goodbye to his brother, and I suspect is worried he might never see him again.

No girly blubbing, just welling tears that totally broke my heart.

Lovely. Poor darling.

I'm glad you got your pizza. Shame about the old geezer.

I'm sure the 100 year old man loves it, so you shouldn't worry. next time you see him offer him a boiled sweet or something to make him smile!

It is better, at least, when it's not pissing down with rain and he's not picking his way with all the pizza bag and everything through the puddles ;)

hehe, your icon is so good there!

Awww.

And what's Prison Break like? I wasn't intending to watch it (it starts airing soon) but I could possibly change my mind :)

I was so skeptical about Prison Break when I saw the ads, but it is totally awesome. My thing was that I couldn't resist Wentworth with a torso tattoo, but I stayed for the show itself. It's much much better than it has a right to be somehow. It's more on the Alias/Lost end of the good spectrum, in that you have to be willing to suspend disbelief a bit, but it's good fun, slashy, twisty, filled with double bluffs, and manages somehow to maintain a level of excitement that it just shouldn't.

:-( I am sorry you are still dizzy. I hope it goes away for good, and soon.

I too always feel awkward and guilty when served by the elderly, unless they are clearly in their element. (Like a charity shop, or a fine book shop.)

It's especially bad when he's having to drive his crappy little car around in a rainstorm while I'm all tucked up cozy in my house and can't be bothered to go up the hill to pick up a pizza!

I'm off to the GP again this morning to get a sick certificate and see if this one has any miracle solutions. I'm suspecting I'll have more luck with the former than the latter.
