i'd love to read a fic (or crack!fic) where Jimmy starts off as a slut, but then House jumps him and spoils him for anyone else. So now all of Jimmy's libido gets focused on poor House, who is frankly too old, hurt and drugged up to handle such a tsunami of midlife hormones but who'll never admit this, for fear that Jimmy will stray from him. XD

I don't think that's a very angsty scenario.. I see it really as quite funny. And in the end, House will have to admit that some nights, he'd rather just cuddle. Which Jimmy I'm sure will accept... as long as he gets some the next day.

you are probably right. But all I am writing at the moment are pre series 1 fics. No House in pain, no reference to drug addiction, nothing that meaty sounding :) I am denial girl. so anything other than that I automatically see as angst.

Ah. So... drugs are there, but aren't a problem, and House is in pain, but not so much he can't enjoy life and boinking Jimmy - until the goods start to chafem, at least?

exactly. I realize I've gone completely around the twist of course, but all the canon Housebunnies have locked themselves in their hutch and refuse to play. they have their little angsty fights in there are look at me and chuckle through the window. apparently i'm not on speaking terms with them at the moment
