First of all your voice! Lovely and eloquent. I think I might be a little jealous. ;P
I love water toooo, although I've never seen Serenity. And I am also an SF Bay Area-er. Go us!
It was cool to hear about your circular coming into/involvement in bandom. I love how there's an entire sociology/culture/evolution to fandom- it fascinates me!
