It's back, it's back! (Reply) [rivers

my computer's back. Back to basics, it has the old 30gig hard drive reinstalled, because my new 80 gig HD is dead. The friendly computer man is going to try to get me a replacement HD because it was only a couple of months old. In the mean time, I've re-installed google talk so I will know if email comes, I've updated my firefox homepage to the four tabs I always want open, and I've deleted some of my older movie star photos to give myself a touch extra breathing room on the drive. My data was rescued, so all the stuff I had on my 80gig drive should be there on the new drive. He tried to explain to me what he was going to do to get it there, but, you know? I had no idea what he was talkign about. It's the same thing he did to get my data off the 30 gig drive and onto the 80 gig one, and that worked fine, so I'm not going to fuss too much.

But now I don't have to share with B any more. He has been largely wonderful with sharing, which is awfully generous considering how bad I am at it.
